LOCATION
This special apartment is located near Harbour Town Brand Direct Shopping Center. It’s a 30 second walk to the water (harbour) and restaurants, few minutes walk to Costo and Etihad Stadium is around the corner. Souther Cross Station / Spencer Street is less than 1km away and it’s an easy stroll to Crown Casino and the Melbourne CBD. 200 meters away is the ice-house and New Quay and water-front. The apartment is 20 minutes on the free tram to MCG, AAMI Park and the Melbourne Park Tennis Centre.

What MELBOURNE RENTAL SEARCH SAYS:

  • The apartment building was about a 20 min walk from Southern Cross station which is a main transport hub with trains going everywhere across Melbourne

  • Access to the Royal Women’s hospital is also quite easy from Docklands with it taking just over 10 minutes outside of peak hour traffic

  • Apartment building is located on a quiet back street of the Docklands. There is a view of the Melbourne Wheel from the front and the water and restaurants are a 1 minute walk around the corner. 

  • Nice and clean lobby area that is secure

  • The apartment is one story up in the lift. The lift and general areas are clean and well maintained. 

  • Door of the apartment opens to a open kitchen, living and dining area. The view is green, leafy and private. 

  • First Bedroom is small with a double bed. Nursery furniture will fit well but the walls are thin so unsure of how sound will pass through the room. We have asked if the double bed can be stored elsewhere. If it can’t be moved you could fit a bassinet at the end of the bed or disassemble the bed and leave it up against the wall. The cot could also just be put in the master bedroom with you.

  • Second bedroom is larger with built in wardrobes. Both bedrooms are carpeted. 

  • The only bathroom is an en-suite off the main bedroom. Bathroom is clean and well designed. There is a shower over tub and some storage but not a large amount. Towel rack may be heated. 

  • Living space has polished concrete flooring (perfect for babies that are messy eaters!). The space is open and bright.

  • Balcony is long and thin. The agent informed that it will have a proper clean before tenants move in. Railing was about waist height. 

  • Kitchen is lovely and clean with modern appliances that are in perfect condition. 

  • Separate laundry area with washing machine and a small trough plus linen cupboard. 

  • Note everything you see in the video is included in the lease.
